Review group expectations and etiquette.
Discuss research completed on artists.

• Work alone or in groups sketching out
three possible ideas for project.
Choose one to develop.
• Meet in groups to discuss project ideas and inspiration.
Provide feedback to group members, filling out Project
Guideline Rubric on each group member and self.
(Teacher will "float" from group to group.)
• Students begin working on projects after
discussing with teacher. (They are not required to use the
techniques demonstrated in these unit lessons.)
• Students share works (voluntary) in class
critique, reflections on effectiveness of pieces to raise issue/message
intended. Did artist follow plan? Do sketches/plan
resemble finished piece?
